Papandreou’s condolences for Christine Sarbanes

Greece's main opposition Pasok leader George Papandreou has sent a message of condolence to Senator Paul Sarbanes, for the recent death of his wife, Christine. The Greek-American senator's wife and mother of deputy John Sarbanis died of cancer at the age of 73. 

Christine Dumbar-Sarbanis was born in London and raised in Brighton, England. She studied Classics and Humanities at Oxford University, where she met Paul Sarbanis. They married in 1960.
