SAE Youth Network in Melbourne

Within the framework of activities taking place for the creation of a SAE (Council for Hellenes Abroad) youth network in Oceania and the Far East, a founding conference took place n Victoria to be followed by a similar initiative in New South Wales.


 

The conference at the premises of the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria on Lonsdale Street was attended by a large number of Greek-Australians and representatives of Greek omogeneia organizations.


During an open discussion, the young adults expressed their concerns, among them, the maintenance of the Greek language, communication with the metropolitan center, national issues etc.
