In the spirit of the Olympic Games, Greek artist Mina Papatheodorou-Valiraki will exhibit her works at the 3rd Biennale of Modern Art in Beijing. Her large paintings depict mainly sports themes, as she was involved in athletics for many years.
Valiraki’s participation in the Biennale – on the topic, “Colour and
the Olympics” – came after a competition among 70 countries. Art fans in Beijing will not only enjoy the Greek artist’s sports–oriented paintings, but also her entire range of subjects, as 70 of her works will travel to the Chinese capital and be displayed at the Jintai Art Museum, under the title, “The Spirit and the Body”.
