“The Theft of History” in Brussels

Today, the exhibition "The Theft of History" will open at the European Parliament in Brussels about the illegal traffic and sale of antiquities. The exhibition - which will run till February 13 - was organised by the president of the Culture Committee, Katerina Batzeli, jointly with the Hellenism Cultural Foundation and Professor George Babiniotis, president of the foundation. The multimedia show will be officially inaugurated tomorrow by Batzeli and Babiniotis, at a ceremony to be addressed by the deputy speaker of the European Parliament, Gerard Onesta and the General Director of the European Commission (responsible for cultural affairs), Odile Quintin.
