120 businesspeople from the tourism sector of France successfully completed a two-day visit to the northern port city of Thessaloniki and the nearby prefectures. The visit was organized by the Organization of Tourism Promotion and Marketing of Thessaloniki and in cooperation with the director of the National Greek Tourist Organization (NGTO) in France, Stefanos Mavrokordatow, French airlines, Airpartner and Blue Line, the Union of Hoteliers of Thessaloniki, Hotels Porto Carras and Sani Halkidiki and EUREKA.
Despite the short time available, the 120 visitors from France (media members, representatives of large tour operations etc) accompanied by various local Thessaloniki officials had the opportunity to visit monuments and museums of Thessaloniki and to come into close contact with the city's tourism product.
The Organization of Tourism Promotion and Marketing of Thessaloniki continues its promotion of the city and nearby regions abroad with its participation at the International Tourism exhibit taking place in Constantinople February 12-15.
