The Federation of Greek Orthodox Communities of Australia has called on all Greek-Australians to respond to the urgent needs created in the state of Victoria, in the wake of the recent devastating wildfires that have killed over 180 people so far. In a demonstration of support for those affected by the blazes, the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia, in cooperation with the 5EBI radio program, is holding a special appeal today to raise funds and collect necessary items for those who lost their homes, businesses or livelihoods.
