A circular released by the Turkish education ministry has removed powers and responsibilities previously held by mandatory Turkish deputy headmasters appointed to private schools set up by minority ethnic groups, relative to their own ethnic minority headmaster.

Αμεσα η αποζημίωση από τους Όραμς
Μπροστά στον κίνδυνο να χάσουν και το σπίτι τους στη Βρετανία βρίσκονται ο Τσάρλι και η Λίντα Όραμς, αν δεν προχωρήσουν αμέσως σε αποπληρωμή της αποζημίωσης και δικαστικών εξόδων που τους επιδικάστηκαν για το σφετερισμό γης στη Λάπηθο, στο κατεχόμενο τμήμα της Κύπρου, ιδιοκτησίας του Ελληνοκύπριου Μελέτη Αποστολίδη. Λόγω της άρνησης του ζεύγους Όραμς να καταβάλει το ποσό των 778 χιλιάδων ευρώ –
αποζημίωση και δικαστικά έξοδα– οι δικηγόροι του Μελέτη Αποστολίδη εξασφάλισαν δικαστικό διάταγμα βάσει του οποίου απαγορεύεται να πωλήσουν ή να μεταβιβάσουν την κατοικία τους στο Μπράιτον αξίας 560 χιλιάδων ευρώ. Ο εκ των δικηγόρων του κ. Αποστολίδη, Κωνσταντής Καντούνας,δήλωσε ότι "δεν υπάρχει πλέον οδός διαφυγής για το ζεύγος Όραμς". Αν δεν καταβάλουν την αποζημίωση και τα δικαστικά έξοδα, τότε θα εκποιηθεί η περιουσία τους στη Βρετανία, πρόσθεσε ο κ. Καντούνας.
