George Nikitiadis - on the Pasok ticket - recently expressed his gratitude to his Greek-American compatriots from the island of Nisyros for their help in ensuring his election as a Dodecanese parliamentary deputy.
During his stay in New York, Nikitiadis attended a New Year celebration organized by Nisyros expatriates, and also had a meeting with the Dodecanese Federation. In his speech, he stressed his devotion to the island of Nisyros and his close cooperation with the islands' mayor and all official bodies for the completion of the necessary public works. Over the weekend, he represented the Greek parliament at Epiphany celebrations at Tarpon Springs in Florida.
