Author Kiki Dimoula will make a literary presentation on October 7, 2008 at the Literary Workshop in Berlin in an event organized by the Hellenic Cultural Foundation on the occasion of the recently HFC sponsored edition «Plötzlich wurde ich hellhörig: Gedichte und ein ‘Mythos’» of the Greek poet Kiki Dimoula within the framework of the promotion and dissemination of the Greek literature abroad.

The book was published by the publishing house “Romiosini” and was translated by Mrs. Dadi Sideri-Speck. The academician Kiki Dimoula was awarded recently by the Association Capitale Européenne des Littératures (ACEL) with the “European Literature Prize” for 2010. 

According to the ACEL committee Dimoula is “one of the strongest voices representing contemporary poetry” and her distinction underlines “the importance of her work for the European culture”.
