16th Worldwide Conference of Overseas Cypriots concludes

At a press conference, the presidents of PSEKA (International Coordinating Committee “Justice for Cyprus”) POMAK (Worldwide Federation of Overseas Cypriots) and NEPOMAK, Philip Christopher, Haris Sophoclidis and Christos Karaolis, expressed the support of their organisations for efforts to find a just and viable solution to the Cyprus dispute. They also voiced their satisfaction about the outcome of the 16th Worldwide Conference of Overseas Cypriots, held from August 24 to 28.
In addition, they referred in particular to briefings on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Dimitris Christophias, the Minister of Foreign affairs, Markos Kyprianou and Government Spokesman Stefanos Stefanou, who were also present in the meeting. All speakers at the event emphasized on the remarkable efforts which are being made by PSEKA in contributing to the efforts of respective Cypriot governments for a viable and just settlement of the long-standing problem.
