An acquaintance of slain restaurateur George Koutroubis was taken into custody by Peel police in Toronto a few days ago and charged in his murder, The Sun has learned.

Η δυνατή βροχή και η χαμηλή θερμοκρασία στάθηκαν η αιτία να ματαιωθεί η ετήσια παρέλαση του Ελληνισμού της ιστορικής πόλης του Λόουελ της Μασαχουσέτης. Ωστόσο πραγματοποιήθηκε εκδήλωση στο Ναό της Αγίας Τριάδος και στη συνέχεια ακολούθησε γεύμα στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο της πόλης. Στο μεταξύ με επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε, η παρέλαση στη Φιλαδέλφεια. Τις πρωινές ώρες ο καιρός ήταν άστατος, αλλά το μεσημέρι και κυρίως κατά τη διάρκεια της Παρέλασης, υπήρχε έντονη λιακάδα κάτι που ενίσχυσε την προσέλευση του κόσμου.
