The president of the International Society of the Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis, George Stasinakis, has been touring Australian cities for the past few days, giving lectures, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the great Greek writer’s death. He has already visited Perth, Adelaide and Sydney, and is currently in Brisbane. The main theme he is presenting is based on Kazantzakis’ travel stories, and is also answering the audiences’ questions about the author’s life, works and ideas. After his Australian tour, he is scheduled to visit New Zealand.
