The number of males is at 47, 584 and females at 40, 723.

    Trikala born Father Theodoros Papanikolaou has spent his life to serve the Greeks in the region of Bordeaux, France and to strengthen and support Greek-French friendship. A few months ago, the mayor of Agen (a municipality in Bordeaux) warded Father Papanikolaou with the Giold Medal, in recognition for his 20 years of service in cementing and developing and nurturing this friendship.




George Katsakiores, State Representative of Derry, NH USA Passed away

Since 1983, he served the Town of Derry as a NH State Representative. His civic service record was lengthy, including the Derry Budget Committee, Derry Town Republican Committee, Treasurer Rockingham County Executive Committee, Derry Development and Preservation Corp, Manchester Airport Task Force and the NH Highway and Transportation Users Coalition.

Mr. Katsakiores was being considered as one of the most active State Representatives of Greek heritage in New Hampshire and we will miss him dearly. State Rep. Thomas Katsiantonis, W.H.I.A Board Member and representative of USA, conveyed on behalf of W.H.I.A and all members his deepest condolences and sympathy to Mr. Katsakiores’ wife, Mrs Phyllis (Harrie) Katsakiores and family.
