The Photography Museum of Thessaloniki will exhibit photographs by Dimitris Soulas, who worked as a reporter in Munich, Germany during the 7-yr military dictatorship in Greece. The show, under the general title, "Hellenes of the Diaspora" will last from January 12 to Feb. 29. Soula's black and white photographs focus on immigrants, the homeless and students, who used to stage peace rallies.
He had collaborated with Associated Press and Germany's best-known newspapers and magazines. The exhibition has been jointly organised by the Photography Museums of munich and Thessaloniki, under the aegis of the Goethe Institute in Thessaloniki. It will also travel to other European cities. A bilingual publication (German-Greek) will accompany the exhibition.
