The local Cypriot community in Melbourne is organizing a wine festival this weekend and all indications point to the fact that it will attract large crowds. The wine – to come from Cyprus – will be flowing, but there will also be other events, such as photo exhibitions, art shows, dances performances, etc. The major names that have come this year to attend the festival are singers Alkinoos Ioannidis and Miltiadis Papastamou, who last Friday gave the first of their three scheduled concerts. The next two performances will be on the weekend at the Cypriot Community’s premises and the entrance fee is $20.
