With an opening address to the 10th Assembly of the Parishes and Communities of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos, the primate of the Greek Orthodox Church of Australia, sessions continued yesterday at the Aghios Spyridon church in the Sydney suburb of Kingsford.
Stylianos' speech contained messages for many recipients, according to archbishopric circles, who mentioned - for example -the Australian archbishop's comments about the proper function of the institution of the Assembly within the body of the Greek Orthodox Church and his reference to quotes, attributed to Saint Paul, from the Bible, about the importance of truth as opposed to lies.
