For the past few days, various Greek islands have been promoted in the English-language Australian press. In its travel pages, the "Sun Herald" newspaper featured an article on Santorini and its volcanic origins. The report explained the origin of the island's name and the history of the development of the caldera, and also referred to the writer's personal experiences when visiting the Old and New Kameni. The article was accompanied by photographs of the island and information on accommodation and how to get there.

Meanwhile, a report on Naxos was entitled "The island of the Greek Gods" in "The Sunday Telegraph" newspaper. The island's many tourist sites and attractions were listed, apart from extensive references to its history and other useful information.

On the same note, the "Weekend Australian" hosted an article about agro tourism in Crete, originally published by the British newspaper, "The Observer".
