German Labor Party deputy and president of DHW, George Hatzimarkakis, attended the 8th PASOK conference following a personal invitation by the party’s leader, George Papandreou. Dr. Hatzimarkakis spoke at the thematic political workshop entitled, “Hellenism of the Diaspora: national and political chapter” where he analyzed the situation of Greeks in Germany, informing that the omogeneia had fully integrated in Germany society and boasted the top position of foreign nationalities in the German business sector. On the other end of the spectrum, he expressed his sorrow over tha fact that according to special migration report, 61% of Greek young adults did not have recognized professional specialization calling for the support of the Greek government and entire political world for their support on such a significant national problem.
