A concert, dedicated to Greek-American opera diva Maria Callas - on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of her death - was recently organized by the Hellenic Music Foundation.
Lovers of classical music and friends of the foundation - which this year celebrated its 10th anniversary - crowded the Lutheran church of St. Peter in Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, to hear distinguished soloists singing compositions by Puccini, Wagner, Strauss, Kalomiris and Hatzidakis.
