A Greek National Tourism Organization office in Brussels was attacked by vandals yesterday. An employee, who was uninjured, said that three masked men and one woman threw paint at the office and shouted slogans in support of Greek anarchists.
A circular entitled “Exercising the right to vote and be voted by Greeks abroad and legal residents coming from third countries for the election of elected bodies of primary local government”, was sent by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Greece, Giannis Ragousis to all stakeholders in order to inform them on who has the right to vote, how they will register in order to vote and what administrative documents are required.

Eκδηλώσεις για την Ποντιακή Γενοκτονία στη Ν.Υ και στον Καναδά
Η διεθνής ημέρα Μνήμης της Ελληνικής Ποντιακής Γενοκτονίας θα τιμηθεί στην πόλη της Νέας Υόρκη με δημόσια εκδήλωση και την ανάρτηση της Ελληνικής Ποντιακής Σημαίας και της Σημαίας της Ελλάδας στο Bowling Green Park στο Μανχάτταν (γωνία του State Street και Broadway), και η εκδήλωση Μνήμης διοργανώνεται από την Παν-Ποντιακή Ομοσπονδία Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών Αμερικής και Καναδά και την Ομοσπονδία των Hellenic Societies of Greater New York. Η εκδήλωση Μνήμης θα περιλαμβάνει ομιλίες από ´Ελληνες και Ελληνο-Αμερικανούς επίσημους και ηγέτες. Επίσης θα παρευρεθούν Αμερικανοί επίσημοι, συγγραφείς, διανοούμενοι, ακτιβιστές εναντίον των γενοκτονιών και εκπρόσωποι των Αμερικανικών κοινοτήτων των Αρμενίων και Ασσυρίων.
Εφέτος, κατά την διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης Μνήμης της Ελληνικής Ποντιακής Γενοκτονίας θα τιμηθεί επίσης και ο Πρέσβης της Σουηδίας για την πρόσφατη αναγνώριση από το Σουηδικό Κοινοβούλιο της Γενοκτονίας των Αρμενίων, Ασσυρίων και Ελλήνων Ποντίων. Την Τετάρτη 19 Μαίου, στις 7.30 μ.μ. στο Κέντρο Stathakion 22-51 Street, Astoria, NY 11105 θα μιλήσει η κα Φανούλα Αργυρού, Ελληνοκύπρια ερευνήτρια, δημοσιογράφος και συγγραφέας η οποία θα έλθει από το Λονδίνο. Τίτλος της ομιλίας της « Από την Ελληνική Ποντιακή Γενοκτονία στην Τουρκική εισβολής της Κύπρου», στα ελληνικά.
Στον Καναδά η Παν-Ποντιακή Ομοσπονδία ΗΠΑ και Καναδά διοργανώνει σειρά εκδηλώσεων σε συνεργασία με οργανώσεις κατά την διάρκεια του Μαίου.
