The Greek financial crisis could inflict the Greek programme of studies in Australia, according to an article printed by the ABC network entitled “Debt fears provoke doubt on Greek language lessons”.
In the framework of this year’s Antipodes Festival, starting this week, six documentaries will be screened on six distinguished Greek figures who have marked with their presence and their work our nation’s recent history, leaving at the same time their mark on world history.
The newspaper “Basler Zeitung” (08/05) entitled “Vacation in Greece especially cheap”, published an interview with Christoph Wydler, a specialist on tourism issues at the Institute of Tourism Economy at the University of Lucerne on the tourist current from Switzerland towards Greece.
The exhibition “Alexander the Great - From Macedonia to the end of the world” has begun. It has been organized by Alpha Bank together with the 12th Board of Prehistoric and Classic Ancientry at the Archaeological Museum of Ioannina.
Harry Tsirkinidis’ book “The red river” which is devoted to the tragedy of Hellenism in Anatolia in the beginning of the 20th century, will be presented in Moscow on the occasion of the remembrance of the Christian population’s genocide during the Ottoman empire.
