Opportunities and prospects for better utilization of young Greek-Americans in all sectors was the focus of a 2-day symposium held recently at Washington's Georgetown University, organized by the Council for Hellenes Abroad USA region. The symposium was conducted under the aegis of the Greek ambassador the United States, Alexandros Mallias and the General Secretariat for Information.
Among issues concerning young Greek-Americans were the lack of meritocracy and the existence of bureaucracy, as well as the slowness of changes.
