100.000 δολάρια στην Κυπριακή Κοινότητα Μελβούρνης και Βικτωρίας για να εορτάσει τα 80χρονά της το 2014 θα προσφέρει το Φιλελεύθερο Κόμμα της Βικτώριας  αν κερδίσει τις επόμενες εκλογές. Την υπόσχεση αυτή έδωσε ο ομογενής σκιώδης υπουργός Πολυπολιτισμού, Νίκος Κότσιρας λέγοντας ότι από το 1934 έως σήμερα η Κυπριακή Κοινότητα έχει εμπλουτίσει την ευρύτερη κοινωνία της Βικτώριας με την ποικιλόμορφη δράση της.
