The Ionian Cultural Federation in cooperation with the Association of Zakynthians "Dionisios Solomos" celebrated the 144th anniversary of the unification of the Ionian Islands with Greece at the Lemnian House and according to federation President, Nikos Bardis, it was the organizations final events prior to the summer holidays. Bardis promised that the Federation would continue with an even fuller and richer cultural program of events.
The event included with a presentation by the president of the Union of Greek American writers and president of "Kefalos", Makis Tzilianos, on "Women's voices in Ionian poetry".
